C.G. Station Lake Worth Inlet is celebrating National Safe Boating week by inviting the public to the biggest show in town, and it is absolutely free.

To give you and idea of the “acts” being offered, just think of a carnival midway: You won’t know which to visit first.

  • Just like in the movies, see a C.G. rescue-swimmer do a drop and rescue from a Helicopter into the Intracoastal  Waterway

·         Ronald McDonald for the kiddies (Arrives 11 AM-12 Noon)

  • Demonstration: See a captured 8 foot Manatee
  • Examine the SWAT Team “HULK”
  • PBSO 33ft.Fast Rigid Hull Inflatable, it goes like the wind.
  • Be part of- West Palm and Riviera Beach Attack and Drug Show Dogs
  • Safety and Environmental Showing and discussion
  • Border Patrol Midget Helicopter See and touch it
  • Live Loggerhead Turtle, Want to pet it?
  • Meet the Aids to Navigation Team
  • And so much more.
  • Join a Station tour. One held every half hour.
  • Refreshments will be offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Morale Fund.
Directions: Route 95 to Blue Heron Blvd. Go East to Route 1 (Broadway), then turn left to traffic light (Silver Beach Rd.) and turn right & follow to the C.G. Station on left
